Tiger Pride & PBIS

Tiger Pride and PBIS

At Graysville Elementary, we want to recognize and reward our students who demonstrate academic growth and meet our schoolwide behavior expectations. We achieve this goal by holding our Tiger Pride and PBIS ceremonies, activities, and field trips.
We recognize students for academic growth through our Tiger Pride ceremonies and activities. Twice a year, we hold a recognition ceremony where every student is recognized for growth in math or reading. We also highlight those students who have shown the most growth in our benchmark assessments and in Lexile reading levels. In addition, we have two Tiger Pride activities, our “Glow and Grow” days, where students are rewarded for their hard work in academics.

Through our Positive Behavior Intervention and Support program, PBIS, students are recognized and rewarded for showing positive behavior and following our schoolwide expectations to “Be Respectful, Be Responsible, Be Ready” !!! These celebrations have included field trips to the UTC Aquatic Center and to a local farm for fall activities. At GES we love to celebrate, recognize, and reward our amazing students!
