Hello! Thank you for visiting my web page!

Here's a little background information to help you know me a little better.

I grew up in three major Georgia cities:  Atlanta, Augusta, and Macon.  After highschool graduation, I attended and received a bachelor's degree from the University of Georgia and began my teaching career at Lilburn Middle School in Lilburn, Georgia.

After my first child was born, I worked part time at a pre-school in Chattanooga and continued working there until all three of my children were in elementary school.  In 2010, I began working full time at Graysville Elementary as a kindergarten teacher.  My teaching experience includes teaching middle school math and reading, kindergarten, and third grade.  Currently, I teach reading interventions in grades K-5.  Along with teaching, I am enrolled at Valdosta State University pursuing a master's degree in Education.

My family is very important to me and I enjoy spending time with my three children, husband, and our labrador retriever, Indy.

My hobbies include hiking, walking, reading, visiting state and national parks, and traveling.

I love teaching and feel blessed to have such wonderful students and to work at such a wonderful school!
